![](/files/cX4a7PuYwlyZBM3IIgVy)

OHZ is the currency used in Kazoku City. It is generated from staking its Kazoku according to our [Hybrid Staking Protocol](/kazoku-whitepaper/kazoku-universe/citymap/hybrid-staking-protocol.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
1 $OHZ = 1 $OHZ \
\
\&#xNAN;***It is important to note that OHZ has no value outside of the Kazoku ecosystem.***
{% endhint %}

That being said, $OHZ will be used as a means of exchange on our [Marketplace](/kazoku-whitepaper/kazoku-universe/citymap/marketplace.md) with numerous articles we want to implement. More details about our Marketplace are in the next chapter.<br>

Some concrete use cases of $OHZ onto the Kazoku Ecosystem on our [Marketplace](/kazoku-whitepaper/kazoku-universe/citymap/marketplace.md) section.

#### Burning mechanism

It is important that the total circulating supply of $OHZ is kept within a healthy inflationnal. In order to achieve that, we will implement various burning mechanisms to reduce the total supply in circulation and keep the token integrity within the ecosystem.\
\
All exchanges made on our marketplace for example will conduct onto burning the amount spent.
