On regular seasons, factions will have to battle against each other in order to gain staking bonuses and access to The Capital benefits.\
\
Given a challenger season ongoing, each week, the different factions will take part in various challenges against each other from which they will gain points if they are successful in beating the other factions.\
\
At the end of each week, on Sunday 12 PM EST, the faction with the most points on the Kazoku Leaderboard will then be claimed victorious. The victorious faction will then have their staking bonus be attributed the next Monday at 12PM EST for 7 days. This staking bonus is 20% on base yield and goes up 10% more every consecutive winning week up to a maximum of 40% staking bonus. See our staking protocol [here](/kazoku-whitepaper/kazoku-universe/citymap/hybrid-staking-protocol.md).

### End of Season

At the end of each season (varying from 4 to 6 weeks), Kazoku holders of a Season-Victorious Faction NFT (most points on the seasonal points leaderboard) will then be airdropped something varying from in and out of the Kazoku Ecosystem. \
\
The goal is to organize various NFT-related events the week following a season's end. There will always be a week with no challenges or additional victory benefits after the end of each season. Members of each faction will then benefit from the various benefits of The Capital.

### The Capital

Central structure of Kazoku City, it will enact as the community hub for Kazokus and also hosts other partnered communities.\
\
Neutral territory for the 4 different factions, decisions will be made towards the city's future at The Capital. The Council will have to decide and vote on various elements that will influence the future of the project. \
\
The Council will first be represented in the form of a voting panel on our website from which Kazokus will authenticate their NFT ownership and vote accordingly to the different elements that have been addressed at the council. After 48 hours after the opening of the votes, the element with the most votes will then be stated by The Council as a mandate to be implemented within Kazoku City. \
\
The Council will be addressing this voting protocol at the end of each season and the 4 retained elements will then be prompt on the Council panel.

#### How will these 4 elements be chosen?

Only the 4 victorious factions will decide on 1 element each week that will be implemented on the season's end vote.

#### Immersive Council

As soon as the different platform allows this process to be fully implemented onto the Metaverse, the Council's process will then be fully immersive and take part directly in The Capital with live audiences.
