# Project phases - Beyond Kazoku City ### Phase 1 - Kazoku Profile Picture Phase 1 is basically minting your Kazoku character that also acts as your key to the Kazoku ecosystem. Most of the utilities mentioned in this whitepaper will be implemented on launch, although not implemented in the Metaverse right away.\ \ Fully implementing a project in the Metaverse using existing platforms such as The Sandbox comes with certain limitations directly related to this same platform development. We have a partnered team that works closely with Sandbox so that we will always be implementing new functionalities to benefit our community and evolves as our City's hosting platform also evolves. ### Phase 2 - Metaverse Upon successfully launching Phase 1 of the project, most of the funds will be gathered towards building Kazoku City in The Sandbox, as well as buying lands. With a team of 40+ people at Virstate, we aim at delivering The Capital within a month after launch that will be accessible to Sandbox users.\ \ Faction's Headquarters construction will start right after The Capital's completion on the different surrounding lands. #### Lands in The Sandbox You can create different experiences in the Sandbox Metaverse that connects with each others using portals.\ \ We will create 5 different experiences that connect with each other: * The Capital experience - Central Land of Kazoku City. It will initially be built on 1 Sandbox Plot * Faction HQs - 4 HQs will be built for each and every faction of Kazoku City. There will then be 4 additional experiences exclusive to each faction. * Each headquarters will initially be built on 2 Sandbox Plots The initial city's structure is a 3 by 3 map (9 plots total) and we are looking to expand as our project grows after launch and with newer Sandbox functionalities. ### Phase 3 - 3D VX Collection and banners As the different Metaverses expand, we want to give the ability to our users to incarnate their Kazoku character in each of them, using a 3D Voxel Kazoku Model that will be playable within those experiences.\ \ We also that adding various other Kazoku Community sigils is a great way to further expand our project visibility by giving art collectibles to our holders. ### Long-term The Metaverse is still a new conceptualized concept to the public. Most within the space will agree that gaming crypto and metaverse have not even seen a boom in adoption yet and that it is a global industry that is growing very fast.\ \ Newer generations are only going to get more and more connected and implement some forms of technology into their regular behaviors, gaming being one of them.\ \ We can argue the Metaverse itself is not a new concept. We have seen lots of games implementing their own ecosystem and environments in which players could interact, exchange, and connect.
